Hi, I am Hannah Blanton...
a Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer based in Hampton Roads, Virginia and serving North Carolina and beyond. Photography has been one of my biggest passions for as long as I can remember. After years of turning a “point-and-shoot” hobby into an art form, and with the encouragement of family and friends, I officially launched Hannah Blanton Photography in 2012. (at just 14 years old!)
Fast forward to today and HBP is now thriving—capturing love stories, family milestones, and everyday magic for clients across Hampton Roads, North Carolina, and anywhere your story takes us.
My philosophy is simple: If you can dream it, we can create it. I value images that feel natural, joyful, and true to you. Whether we’re celebrating a wedding day, welcoming a new family member, or updating portraits just because, my goal is to make the experience fun, comfortable, and memorable.

SEASONS OF LIFE...
I graduated in the class of 2016 from Crest High School, was accepted into my top pick school, and moved to Greenville, NC– home of The Pirates! There, I attended East Carolina University, where I studied Allied Health Sciences. While my time there did not amount to a college degree, I developed some of my most valuable friendships and met the love of my life, Zach!
I ALWAYS SAID I'D LIVE AT THE BEACH...
Zach earned his Bachelors from ECU in 2019, majoring in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. We moved to Virginia Beach to be closer to his family. Over the years we've established a life here, gotten engaged, and adopted 2 dogs from the VBSPCA! I always said I'd live at the beach one day; I never thought it'd be in my 20s! Life is good.
I'm currently in school...
pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University. Ask me anything teeth related and I'll melt in your hand.
When I'm not behind the camera,
editing galleries, or studying, you can usually find me with my fiancé on a beach somewhere — drink in hand. Whether it’s the ocean, the bay, or a kiddie pool set up in the backyard with a beach chair, if there’s sun and water, I’m happy.
I'm a huge music lover...in every form. Live concerts are my favorite, but I’m just as content riding shotgun with the windows down, singing every word, or spinning a vinyl record at home. And for the record — if you can’t go from Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac straight into Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton, you can't ride with me! Variety is the vibe.
